NO politician that takes huge contributions from Big Pharma or Big Medicine or Big Insurance will ever do anything to get good, affordable healthcare for the American People.
NO politician that takes huge contributions from Hedge Fund Managers, Big Banks, or Wall Street will ever do anything to reform our banking system.
NO politician that takes huge contributions from CEOS of megacompanies will ever do anything to guarantee working men and women in America a living wage and decent working conditions.

Politicos who accept these checks from donors and superPacs are bought and paid for. They will work for the interests of those who paid them the most, not for the American people.
The ONLY reliable politicians running for office or serving are those who accept only small, personal donations from supporters and public funds, and who are content to live on the rather opulent salaries we pay to our legislators. Anyone else is a crook and a con artist and is lying to you when they say they're on your side. Supporting them isn't "pragmatic" or "grown up", it's just dumb, and if you do, you deserve what you get.
